Just read an interesting article from 2010 about how the brain learns (find it here). Mentioned is four ways of learning:
- Intensity: practice, practice, practice (a lot and often)
- Progression: begin at the proper level (challanges in relation to skills)
- Positive feedback
- Self-monitoring: the student should be able to monitor his own progress
Trying to figure out the characteristics of my interactives, this definitely is a source of inspiration.
